Nope, you're not.
If you notice, this isn't "remake" Jason either, it's an amalgam of Jason forms from 6-X.

I will say though, that the reimagining or whatever they're calling it doesn't completely make me afraid. I mean lets face it, the last three movies in the Friday series pretty much through canon out the window anyway. As long as Jason is big and mean and gets in a lot of solid machete swipes, how bad can it really be?
The thing that makes me raise an eyebrow more than anything else is that Jason looks like he's moving fast in the trailer. And Jason has always moved slow on camera. Of course he has the ability to warp when he's off camera but that's part of his style.
